I have a potential buyer interested in a large set (1000+ parts), and he wanted
the parts sorted as initially packed in the set. They need it as the set is meant
as a gift for Christmas. Fair enough. The only options I know of are by color
or part type on both BrickLink and Rebrickable (The latter has few more options
though).

Are there lists out there that show the contents of each numbered bag as initially
packed by Lego? The alternative is for me to follow the assembly steps in the
book, but that will require time that I do not have.

Thoughts ??

Thank you. It is what I thought as well. No time for that, unless I charge extra
my hourly rate ... lol

Agreed some things buyers request is to much so it’s sometimes the right thing
to say no

For many years Lego sets did not come with numbered bags, and the instructions
did not refer to numbered bags. You just found the part, and built according
to the instructions. Even young children can perform this task.

I think you must be selling a "used" set. By definition, I think, "used"
means that the parts are no longer in their numbered bags. If the buyer wants
to have parts in the correct numbered bags, they should buy a "new" set.
