| Im having a problem with my store verification ive been waiting for a very long
time for it to be verified

| Hi! I have the same problem. I have gone trhough the verification page and submitted
all the documents. But my store is still closed and I got no message from Bricklink
regarding the verification.

What points you both to not having been verified yet?
Have either of you checked this page?

Are you able to effect "Store Status" change, or is the tab grayed out?
I seem to recall reading sometime after the week long site-closure, that a backlog
or slowdown of that process is to be expected. If I'm misremembering, it
seems a natural expectation nonetheless.

In which case, beyond posting here for possible Admin attention, I'd argue
further patience.

You need to remove the LOCK yourself.
As does the other member with this 'issue'. His store is open TOO.....

That's odd: if your selling priviliges are ok (see screenprint!), than forward
that to the helpdesk.
Its not logical if your granted seller rights and the store will not unlock.
Never heard that one before....

So I am a qualified driver, I have purchased a car, paid my insurance bill and
all the taxes concerning driving a car on a public road but when I try to use,
I can't open the damn thing because somebody else has my keys?
When and why this that happen?

you have insurance and you said you paid the taxes concerning driving a car on
a public road but when you try to drive your car and quit the shop, you realize
the seller hasn’t given you the keys yet because they are still checking that
what you said is true.

Yes, because only the admins can verify/approve new stores. The OP is not finished
with seller verification. Their stores is not verified:

Do you mean that it has been 8 days sense you applied? If so, then you will most
likely have to wait a while longer. I think I remember some comments from admin
that because of the back log that it can take at least a few weeks.
As a side thought, maybe some others here that have read these posts and have
recently been approved to open your own store can comment on how long the process
took to finally get approved.

| This is not correct in my eyes. Bricklink does not approve new stores, does not
reply to chats or emails. Sorry, but even though they had an attack on their
website, they should still respond to member's requests.

they are trying but when you run a massive site and get a massive uptick in messages
its simply not possible to instantly respond to all of them and naturally that
causes a backlog in this case it is several weeks
