Can you also use an XML file to subsequently add purchase prices for existing
stock and how do you do that?

Every lot has a price on it, when it was originally created. If you are asking
about changing prices, yes that can be done via an XML file.

Otherwise help me to understand what you're asking.

Hi Nita,

I once uploaded my inventory to Bricklink. I did not take into account to mention
my purchase price. I would now like to add this.
So I can do this per article, but that is very time consuming.
So I thought there must be a system that can do this faster.

You can download your inventory and add the MYCOST tag field to the XML file
generated and upload that file to the update form.

It can be easier done using the software BrickStore.

Hi Stellar
Thanks for your answer. I download my inventory as XML in BL, then I add the
COST column, but what are the steps I have to do in Brickstore?

Dirk

You can fill the cost of each item or select how many you want and spread the
total cost by price or weight. After filling everything you want select all and
go to File - Export - Mass-Update and be sure to copy the details to the bottom
box in the page that opens.
