Hello experts,
is there an opportunity to reduce the palette of BL items in Studio to parts
of a certain era? I want to apply a filter for parts which existed until 1985.
Everythin after that is lust confusing for me and not helpful for my projects.
I'm very unexperienced in Studio but try to get into it.

Hi,

The dedicated forum for Studio and PartDesigner is https://forum.bricklink.com/
(hover over the red Studio icon on every page, then click “Studio Forum”).

As for your question, you can hide parts & categories:
https://studiohelp.bricklink.com/hc/en-us/articles/5458323172887-Organize-hide-parts-and-categories
or create your own palette(s):
https://studiohelp.bricklink.com/hc/en-us/articles/5456164357527-Custom-palette

Nothing automatic though.

Or if you want to recreate or use the inventories of official sets, you can import
them:
as parts in the build area: https://studiohelp.bricklink.com/hc/en-us/articles/6153757706135-Import-an-official-LEGO-set-in-the-viewport
as a new palette: https://studiohelp.bricklink.com/hc/en-us/articles/5457935385239-Importing-an-official-LEGO-set-as-a-palette

Thank you for the good hints. Anyway I still like the idea of making eras of
parts selectable.
