I've just realized that item dimensions of 75252 Imperial Star Destroyer
in the BL catalogue are completely wrong... Can someone check this? Thank you!

What do you mean exactly by 'can someone check this?'. Given your conclusion
that they are completely wrong, it looks like you have the set and already checked
by measuring the box (not the build) ?!

Height it's 40 or 44 cm.

It sounds like those are the dimensions of the built set.

The dimensions that are displayed on a set's main catalog page on BrickLink
are the dimensions of a brand new set in the original packaging. So, for this
set, the dimensions are that of the box that the set comes in when new, which
is (or close to) 53.5 x 46 x 38.7cm.

Since we do not store built set dimensions anywhere on BrickLink, there is nothing
to be done with this request. Thus, it has been discarded.
