This is my first time trying to buy parts. I have a wanted list that has 156
items on it. I select BUY ALL and multiple stores pop up. I select a store and
it says "84 matching lots found." Does that mean it does not include
all 156 items on my list even though I selected that I wanted to buy all the
parts? Thanks!

They buy all will create carts in multiple stores, but the least amount needed
to buy all the parts.

Try clicking "auto select" and then buying from all of the stores that
appear. When you click "auto select" Bricklink will choose the cheapest
combination of stores with all the parts you want. I hope this helps.

It just means that your list is such that no one store will have all the parts,
and you'll have to order from multiple stores. The advice to use the Auto
Select button is good.

Hi and welcome

Here’s the help page for the Buy page: https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=2445

Summary: indeed, the stores shown don’t necessarily have all your items.  By
default, the list is ordered by the number of lots (part+colour combination)
they can fulfill, and then alphabetically.

The stores are not sorted by price!

They may also have the items but not in the quantity you want (there’s a filter
for that).

You can use the Auto-select feature to help you find stores to get all your wanted
items but it may propose a bad solution (not the cheapest, or bad stores).
Tinkering is often necessary.

And use the Wanted Items tab on the left (the default is Wanted Lists; it’s mark
(2) on the first picture on the help page).
You’ll be able to see the individual items in your WL(s) and you’ll be able to
pick or remove some of the them (even from different WLs).
It also shows more info. For instance, if you click on the line of a store (not
its name but near it), the items it has will be shown in the Wanted Items tab.

Look and click around, nothing is done, nothing is reserved, until you’ve checked
out.

We suggest watching YouTube How to Buy on Bricklink.com

We also see that you are in Georgia. If you live close to Atlanta Brick Company
(also a Bricklink.com store), they have an incredible parts selection in store.
And always worth the trip!

Good luck !
