| Greetings - newbie question - sorry if it's been asked before:
If I buy a list of items from a store, does the system automatically update my
wanted list with the purchased items or do I have to do that manually? Seems
it should know the quantity I'm purchasing and deduct that from the quantity
I wanted when starting the purchase, so it should work, but just wanted to know
before I buy anything.

Hello Elladan (great username by the way),
The wanted list won't automatically update, but the process to update it
isn't entirely manual - you go to the relevant wanted list, click on the
"Apply Order" button, and choose the order you want to apply. Couple
of caveats: (1) only orders with items from the relevant wanted list will show
(this is good!) and (2) the system doesn't "remember" which orders
you've applied to the wanted list, so it's possible accidentally to apply
an order more than once.

The wanted list won't automatically update, but the process to update it

Hello Elladan,
Welcome to BrickLink! Good question. After you order something on BrickLink,
BrickLink does not automatically remove it from your Wanted List. You must do
that yourself. The easiest way to do so is to click the "Apply Order"
button at the top of your Wanted List.

You can also access this from your Orders page, click on the scroll icon "Items
in Order in Wanted List".
This will take you to the same page.
