well looking for some 1x2 plate and the colors available, I went to lego.com
compare prices. does Bricklink have a different color naming convention compared
to Lego? Vibrant Coral, Bright Reddish Violet there are others as well. Are
these new colors coming?

Unfortunately Lego colour naming does indeed differ from Bricklink's (and
other sites).

Here's a website that lists the Lego nomenclature and the BL alternative
- http://ryanhowerter.net/colors.php


Personally, I generally prefer the BL names for most colours - they make much
more sense to me.
