| Good morning!
We need some advice. Can we easily ship Lego from the UK to Australia?
I was stopped by Royal Mail’s post office as it is considered a toy and considered
restricted goods.
I’ve cancelled and refunded that order to minimise issues but I wondered if anyone
else had solutions for the future.
Also, how do I change the map in the shipping terms to remove Australia? I removed
it from the shipping options but it is still showing that we ship to 100% of
customers when we would like to remove Australia all together?
Thank you for your help!

Check your "request for invoice" shipping setting. That needs to have
any excluded countries removed.
It sounds like they have misinterpreted regulations, as many people ship LEGO
to Australian buyers without problem.

Thank you for your help! We've managed to remove Australia from our list.
Do you know what to tell the post office (Royal Mail) staff to ensure they understand
Lego is not restricted or do you have any experience yourself shipping from the
UK to Australi and how to effectively do so?

You could probably try another post office (or person, if it is a big post office).
I used to send stuff to Aus, but stopped all shipping abroad a few years ago
and never felt the need to open foreign shipping up again. For me, the minimal
extra sales volume wasn't worth it compared to the hassle of shipping (especially
larger items) abroad. If you could have international shipping for just some
items, I might again but it is a pain if someone buys a large item and expects
cheap international shipping and ends up cancelling.

| Thank you so much for your perspective!
We are certainly experiencing similar issues and this is food for thought.

Never write lego! write collectables, plastic parts, collectable figures or something
along those lines.
I've never had an issue. FYI - if you're going to remove shipping to
Australia due to this you better remove Canada as well!
