Why I sell on Bricklink...

1.) I love LEGO and have since I was a kid,
2.) I love my family am trying to save up as much as I can for their future...

This is my daughter, Brielle, who is a Senior in High School. Brielle was recently
recognized as a National Merit Scholarship semifinalist. If she is awarded the
scholarship it will help to defray some of the cost of college, but not nearly
enough. She is applying to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for early
decision.

Today, is October 1st, the first day that students can apply for college financial
aid. While other High School Seniors are sleeping in late into the morning,
she was up and applying for financial aid.

I sell LEGO for Brielle and the rest of my family as my public servant job will
only go so far to help fulfill her ambition and dreams.

Thanks

Mike

Very nice post. Thanks!

What a strong, beautiful young woman. You've gotta be very proud, dad! Whether
she lands at MIT or not, she's destined for great things. Just got a feeling.

Nice to hear how proud you are of your talented daughter, wishing her a great
future and best of luck with the store.

I have two daughters and am proud of both, two very caring people just like their
mother.

Wow, what an amazing story. Thanks for sharing. People come to BrickLink for
so many different reasons.

Have you considered the University of Illinois? Both UIUC and MIT are very good
engineering schools, but UIUC is a fraction of the cost, especially for in-state
students.

I'm totally not biased toward my alma mater.

Anyway, I wish your daughter the best of luck, wherever she ends up.
