| Some of us buyers can not use PayPal at all. It's the only payment service
in the world I cannot use it reliably, one must keep the same phone forever for
PayPal, generally stay in your home country 100% of the time, and other conditions
that don't work for every lifestyle. Quite a few sellers here already I would
have bought from you, but you only accept PayPal... so then I must find another
seller 
I would love to see more sellers here offering various payment types, specifically
offer some non-Paypal options, I'm begging you lol 🤣

| Many sellers also offer stripe but in general for tax reasons most buyers can
only pay with PayPal or stripe and those 2 are the simplest so sellers usually
don’t offer other means

Welcome to 1001bricks; we have few other options and currencies.
We're to even accept Rai stones, but there's some shipping issues unsolved
yet

There's also having to pay taxes from certain countries and states in the
US.
As BrickLink is now a marketplace, if there are taxes to be collected, BrickLink
has to collect and remit them to the tax agency that collects them. Your only
options for payment when this is required are PayPal or Stripe.
Other options may be offered at a later date, but it's a legal requirement
that BrickLink collects and remits the tax for the order. If you don't pay
using one of the Onsite payment options, then technically you are committing
tax evasion. If you should have paid onsite and didn't, retract your payment
to the seller and pay onsite.
It's not about conditions that work for one's lifestyle, it's about
paying what must be paid.
Just my observations.

OP seems to say they live in multiple countries at the same time. They may have
a local phone number for each country.
Does PayPal allow to change your phone number every other week?

You can change the address including the country multiple times a day. That's
how international drop shippers work.

I know that PayPal (at least here in the U.S.) allows you to save multiple addresses
and choose your desired shipping address when you pay. I'm not sure about
phone numbers as we tend not to use those for shipping here, but in Asia it's
more important.

| As an Aussie I will only buy from Australian BrickLink stores and will not buy
if PayPal is the only option available (if they offer bank transfer that's
ideal although I would probably also be OK with Stripe)

Out of interest what rights do you think that Stripe gives you that PayPal doesn't,
or what bad things does PayPal do that Stripe doesn't do?

| You can pay with a credit card through paypal without having a PayPal account.
You will need an email address that is not associated with an existing paypal
account. At least this works in the US.
Delete your web browser cache & cookie, then close all browser windows. Open
the browser, login to bricklink and click Pay on the order. After entering
the email that is not associated with paypal in the first paypal screen and clicking
'next' you should see something like this. Don't login, just fill
in your credit card details.

Presumably this won't work if his credit card is registered in his home country
and the delivery is in another country - which seems to be the reason behind
the rant. Otherwise to paypal and the credit card company it looks like stolen
credit card details being used to send goods to an incorrect address not even
in the right country.

I question that PayPal has a same phone forever requirement and the prevention
of international lifestyle. I have done both without issues. I can think of
many ways around the identified problems. I really don’t see these challenges
for other than a slim minority of potential customers.
