I've got a fair number of 4073 gold parts in inventory. The majority are
Pearl Gold but I've got two other lots that are vary noticeably. I know that
there is some color variation in the Pearl Gold parts. Are my other two lots
just variations or different colors like Flat Dark Gold or something else?
I realize that 4073 is not available in all colors. Any help/guidance would be
helpful. See picture of the three color versions I see. Thanks

Left two are both Pearl Gold (which is known to have a lot of variation), the
right one is Flat Dark Gold.
All this assuming the color balance of your picture is not very much off.

It looks that way. Only 50 different parts were made in flat pearl gold. The
break down of which parts were made in pearl dark gold is as follows: 32 Bionicle
parts, 11 Duplo parts and the remaining 7 parts are in older Castle and Vikings
sets made back around 2005 and they are just 3 weapons, 2 shields and 2 large
figure armor pieces.
