Hi,

I'm looking at getting some of my old Star Wars lego minifigures rated and
I was wondering if anyone knew any good and reputable rating services? I'm
based in the UK.

Thanks

Why do you want them rated? Different companies will do different things, such
as encasing them in perspex so they cannot be removed, for different prices.
What service you pick depends on why you want the rating.

Thanks for getting back.

I have an old cloud city Boba Fest mini figure with printing on the arms and
legs from when I was young and I'm aware that it's worth a bit of money.
I figured that it would be a good indication of value to get it rated. I wanted
to protect it and just see if the figure was in good shape (for a collector).
I'm working out what the best thing is to do is with it and figured getting
it rated would be a good starting point.

It costs something like £35 to get a figure graded. Whether getting it graded
adds that much to the price is debatable. Especially if it is a used figure,
a lower grading might actually lower the value.

In addition, how many buyers are looking for an encased minifigure?
It can't be easily displayed with their other, not-encased, figures.

Encasing might reduce the value, because there might be fewer interested buyers.
