| Hi
I need your opinion.
I have ordered 4 batches of 4 different colors of magnets 74188c01 as 'NEW'.
More than 50% out of a 172 items show 1 or 2 corroded screws.
What to you think ?
How should I proceed ?
Thanks to all of you
Anick
Here is the discussion we had !
ME : "Hi, I have receive the parcel. I'm sorry to tell you that a lot
of items have corrosion on the screws. Quite disapointing from my point of view.
I will send you a picture on your email adress. Best regards. Anick"
SELLER : "I see thet on all of the magnets i gett my self so its nothing
i can do. I think its from storage or from facktory. I store them in a close
box in a dry enviroment for not futher get more corision on screws. "
ME : "Hi, I understand. Nothing was mentioned from your side concerning that.
and you knew about it. That is a lack of information from the seller.
You sold them as new with defects ! It is not the first time I buy magnets, but
it is the first time I receive corroded items. What do you propose ? Best regards.
Anick "

| What was the item listing description showing for these magnets in your order
with the seller?
If he described the condition of them as having corrosion then you are out of
luck about getting anything done about it because you should have read the description
before ordering them.
"NEW" does not have anything to do with corrosion of metal parts used
to hold the item together, it only concerns the clutch power of the connectors
on the item, be they studs or pins or pin holes or whatever is used to bind the
elements to other elements for building purposes.
It should be described as part of the description of the item as a visual defect
that does not affect the practical usability of the brick.
Cheers ...

New simply means that the part has not been handled other than for packing and
sorting. It is no guarantee of clutch power.
