I was browsing the LEGO aisle at Kmart today where I live in Australia, and found
this with a dent in one corner of the box:

Set No: 10788 Name: Gabby's Dollhouse
*
10788-1 (Inv) Gabby's Dollhouse
488 Parts, 4 Minifigures, 2023
Sets: Gabby's Dollhouse

I got it home and finally opened it up, expecting to find missing bags. It had
9 numbered bags and 2 extra bags containing large parts. Does anyone know if
there's any way to view the bags contained in a set?

To my surprise all of the bags appear to be there. None of them seemed to be
missing any pieces.

I paid full price - AUD $115 - for it not knowing what to expect, but apparently
all it got was a corner of the outer cardboard box dented.

It was a pleasantly nice surprise, sometimes you have no idea what you're
going to get in a box that's damaged.

I'll probably build it later in September and see if it's really all
there, the envelope for the instructions and any sticker it might have is intact,
so I should be easily able to tell if it's complete or not.

Cheers ...

YouTube unboxings are usually best or you can flip thru the instruction book
to see what it calls for

You can weigh the box/content and check if it's close to the 1721 gram it's
suppossed to weigh.
