| Hello,
I recently came across an item in a bulk buy that matches both of the following
descriptions:
Cloth Picnic Tablecloth / Blanket with Red Checkered Pattern, 16280
Duplo, Cloth Blanket 6 x 6 with Red Checkered Pattern, blankie05pb01
In trying to narrow down which version I have, I contacted a few sellers (thank
you to everyone who responded to me!), and, long story short, these two items
appear to be identical. The 12.5 stud x 12.5 stud dimensions of the 16280 are
based on regular Lego studs, while the 6 stud x 6 stud dimensions of blankie05pb01
are based on Duplo studs.
Further investigation into the measurements indicate that they are the same,
and the patterns appears to match as well.
I believe these two entries are the same item, and I would like your input if
this is correct.

You could be right, for
Duplo studs 6 gives 9.6 cm
LEGO studs 12,5 gives 10.0 cm
and LEGO calls them both 10x10 square
Cloth items shouldn't have stud dimensions but packing dimensions. I will
leave the stud dimensions in for now, for it kind of prooves the issue. One of
them has packing dimensions, but these are not confirmed.
So to be sure these are the same, we need the weight and size in cm and images
of both blankets that came from a sealed set (front and back). For a difference
could be that one has a plain white back and the other hasn't. Also the cloth
material could be different (1.5 versus 1.7 gram). So we can't say these
two blankets are identical, based on the 10 x 10 dimensions only.
