| Hello,
I have a large number of sets new sealed in stock and I need to put a number
on it, if someone were to buy all stock from me. So I am not selling, just need
a number.
I am happy to discuss this in private and I am also happy to compensate for the
time spent on this.
I need this valuation for an official setting with a 3rd party.
I prefer someone who can provide an value on business letterhead paper.
If you think you can help me, please let me know. Preferably someone in Ireland/UK
or otherwise EU.
Thanks

Surely the humber depends on what you want to use it for. Is it what a dealer
would pay you, or buyers at full price, or what you paid. If it is for insurance,
ask your insurer what type of value they want to know.

I need to know what someone would pay me for my entire stock. So if you would
buy it from me, what would you pay me. That number is what I need.

| I added your entire inventory to my cart, and the total came to 5,500 Euro (6,000
USD).

Ok, BL only has like 10% of my stock. And this is not what I am asking for. You
are not going to pay me the full BL price if you are buying a few hundred sets.

A starting point is to use Brickstore. Download your inventory and set the price
to the six month average. This gives you a numerical figure as if you sold everything
(individually).
If you wanted a reasonable price for a potential wholesale price as a lot I suggest
using one third that value.
We aren’t fine art. The only true value is a genuine offer. I believe there
are very few cases where professional estimators are correct.

Hi there, thanks, yeah, I did upload the full stock to Rebrickable, they have
a similar feature. But that gives me the current market value not what someone
would pay for it. But the 33% as a wholesale value is interesting. I just need
something that I can officially use for the situation I am in. I need some form
of document from a business that gives me this figure.
