Hi all, can someone share with me where they are getting their shipping boxes
for any Lego sets? I am needing boxes that are 24"x20"x5" (or 6",
10"
Thanks!

Those are available from ULine, and several other box suppliers. Expect to have
a 20x or 25x minimum per size. The sizes you are asking about will exceed one
cubic foot, and will go as dimensional weight, not actual weight. If you have
a local shipping agent, they may have larger sizes and are willing to sell you
small quantities.

As CosmicRay says, try to find a box seller local to you. Then, you can avoid
paying freight charges to get them delivered and you might not have to purchase
bundle quantities for larger sizes of boxes.

The last time I purchased a box of similar dimensions as mentioned at a UPS store,
I think I paid more than $6.00 per box but I only needed 3 or 4 so I was okay
with the price.

My local box supplier offers this size for $3.06 per box in bundles of 10.
Because I pick up my orders direct from their warehouse, I don't pay shipping.

If storage space is not an issue and the boss doesn't mind having so much
cash tied up on inventory and supplies, then go for the Million. 💰💰

Most wholesale suppliers offer sliding scale prices on all the goods they stock.
Better efficiencies of scale, etc.

indeed but i was expecting the sliding scale to be more sliding then a trip to
the moon after one learns to jump

I think 1M = 1,000, IDK where this stupid notation comes from, but it has been
around for a while.

Interesting, can’t say I’ve heard it before but it does make sense

(Hence, French mille, English mile, etc.)

Roman numerals. M is 1,000.

But in the modern business world, 1M usually means one million.

I have seen 1MM = 1 Million, (1000 x 1000) - I forgot the Roman numeral M indicates
1000

Ah, yes. I have seen 1MM for one million much more often. Well, I guess that
makes the 1M even make more sense now.
