| Below is the description for the shipping my store offers. You’ll love it.
Your order will be packaged excellently. You’ll receive an invoice within a few
hours after placing your order. Your order will have a tracking number. Your
order will be shipped within less than a few hours after I've received your
payment. I usually ship USPS First Class. If you want to place an order that's over
the USPS First Class weight limit. Message me for the bypass password so you
can place the order.

I don’t know if I can do instant checkout. I want to make sure my buyers pay
for the shipping and all the other fees that come with selling on Bricklink.

It depends on whether there are taxes to be remitted. If there are taxes to be
remitted, it becomes a PayPal Onsite or Stripe payment, depending on which method
you have set up.
If you encounter a buyer who should have paid by PayPal Onsite and sent the payment
to a different PayPal account, refund the payment and ask that they pay for their
order using the link on the order, as this is the only way to ensure that taxes
are remitted.
It does not necessarily become an instant checkout if PayPal Onsite is used,
although the few orders I have paid for using this method have so far been instant
as far as the payment is concerned.
Sometimes you might have the option to manually invoice when PayPal Onsite is
used, I recommend you check the Help Center topics as they explain it far better
than I can.

Many sellers use Instant checkout, myself included. If you are new to selling,
I'd stick with manual until you get the hang of it. The trick to IC is to
set the margins of the shipping package ( box, bubble mailer) to dimensions that
work for your parts. It requires research , trial and error and making sure you
set it up right in the shipping section. I do not recommend using shared methods.
These are usually very outdated. I use the weight options to set up IC. Also
- USPS got rid of the term First Class, - it is now called Ground Advantage and
you might want to fix this in your terms.

As a potential buyer you lost me on “You’ll receive an invoice within a few hours
after…”
I want to know what shipping costs are and buy immediately. I don’t care which
service of mail it is either I just want it to arrive fast.
Might I suggest looking into a flat rate for your shipping (I have it set up
in my store).
I did a podcast episode with Pop’s Block Shop on Shipping Strategies a couple
of years ago talking all about this and the benefits of flat rate shipping.

I personally avoid all non instant checkout stores if I can, especially when
buying international. I've had too many experiences with sellers who claim
they want to charge "the exact shipping rate" but then charge way more
than I know is necessary. Plus, I don't want to wait for a seller to send
an invoice and then wait for my payment to arrive. This can add several days
to the processing time. I want to submit payment with my order just like I do
with every other online business and know exactly what I'm paying.
