| Shipped a set and buyer refused package upon delivery. Picture from UPS is hard
to see since it's blurry. Claims box was heavily damaged. Has any one had
this happen to them and how did you handle it?

Domestic US to US, or international shipping ?
BTW, UPS is currently in contract negotiations, with a strike deadline of August
1st.

Shipped UPS, domestic. I'm aware of the potential strike, so that concerns
me that I'll be without the package and be out the money also.

If the buyer paid via PayPal issue a full refund. If you don't you get hit
with an extra chargeback fee on top of what they paid you. PayPal will usually
side with the buyer in damaged packages in most cases.
Cheers ...

buyer has a right to refuse package if there is obvious damage to the box. You
as a seller also have the right to claim damages with UPS (or whichever shipper/insurance
agency you used). Make sure to document everything when you receive the package
back and also use the buyer's refusal of delivery as proof too when making
the claim.

I’ll definitely be doing that. I’ll have to sell at a steep discount of course
once I receive it. That’s my biggest concern. Hoping UPS doesn’t lose it or damage
it even more on the return.
