| I have a minifigure aqu006a aquashark and the head is stuck in the helmet. Won't
rotate within the helmet. I tried carefully to pull the head out with pliers
but doesn't budge. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Put the head on a neck and see if it holds the neck harder than the helmet.
You can put some friction on the head by touching the face through the front
of the helmet with your thumb while pulling up on the helmet.

put the head on a torso and then pull the helmet up but at an angle so that the
head doesn't get a good angle to come off but the helmet does

Yes, like stated but the head onto a torso, I'll put a napkin or paper towel
on the torso head stud if the helmet is really stuck to and more tightness.

My suggestion would be to insert the head onto the torso, then grab onto the
helmet piece at the part where it extend out to the arms, and gently wiggle the
torso from side to side as much as it will travel. You should have your helmet
pop off more easily.
If that doesn't work, I suggest finding a thin handkerchief or other thin
fabric, and inserting it in between the head and the neck post, to create more
grip between them. If it's sufficient, it should pull out the head stud with
it when you pull on it.
The idea is that you want the neck to grip the head more than the stud inside
the helmet, if you can make that happen, you should be easily able to remove
it.
Cheers ...

I have a custom made tool for this ... an old torso with no arms and a few layers
of tape around the neck. Stick it in tge head, then twist then pull. The tape
gives extra grip in the head, usually enough to get it going.

| This all seems like a lot of work for a .30 helmet. The head is likely destroyed
already by the pliers. I once had a black head stuck in an early Jango Fett
helmet. After 20 minutes of prying i got it out, and found it had been super
glued in and ruined the helmet. Sometime it's best to just order a new helmet.
If it's super glued you could try to pour some thinned nail polish remover
into the head. That head is a blocked open version and the liquid should at
least make some contact with the helmet. Might loosen it just enough to get
it to break free. Thin it first or it will melt the plastic.

I made the tool, as I find I need to use it most frequently on heads stuck in
these ...
If they've not been used for 25 years they are often stuck and it is a shame
to break long retired helmets.

| I agree... these generally go straight in the garbage.

Thanks to everyone for your suggestions. I will try the 'Torso attack'
methods. Hopefully it isn't glued.
