| Please forgive what is perhaps a silly question. In reading through the terms
page at stores, I encounter verbiage stating the seller applies one procedure
to “smaller orders” and a different treatment for “larger orders”. In the most
recent example, they were referring to the number of lots. Which leaves me scratching
my head wondering whether my order is large or small to understand which terms
will apply.
Now I’m curious. Is there is any ballpark rule of thumb for judging order size?
Thanks

You'd have to ask the seller.

Seller must tell you their rule.
But basically, it's a question of time (salary cost) and value (margin).
100 lots can be a 1 hour work (say), which is fine for a $200 order, but probably
not for a $10 order where the margin won't even cover the picking salary
cost only (not talking about packaging, printing, accounting, BL and payment
fees, etc.)

we do a flat $5.00 flat rate shiping fee, buyers can fill up a box if they want,
it's only $5.00 shipping.
never really understood the charging customers for every feather added to an
order.
$5.00... eazy-peezy

| I agree, you would have to ask the seller. I don’t do flat rate because I have
had orders that weighed 4 pounds from a customer in Idaho, which from my zone
can be expensive. That’s why I wish more sellers had Quote requests, so customers
could get an exact answer for shipping and the seller can also know the exact
cost. Also some orders are bulky which can be expensive. The hope is that the
over-unders balance out.

A large order? 2 big macs, 20 piece chicken mcnuggets, extra large fries.
It really depends on the store. What may be considered a large order for a small
store may be considered a small order for a large store. You could always message
the seller and ask or check there terms for an exact number. 100+ lots is probably
considered to be a large order by most stores.
