| I ordered some medium trans blue parts, and when I receive them they were the
darker blue trans parts, I informed the seller of the mistake and that they sent
me the wrong color of parts,I’m asking them for either a full refund or them
to send me the correct parts. They are refusing to do so until I send the Parts
back with my own money? How is this my issue? Looking at the sellers store. It
looks like they have done this to a few other people also…. I’m hoping PayPal
can get me a refund. any advice?

Sorry to hear you got the wrong parts than what you ordered. Any good seller
would pay for the return shipping as it is their mistake. Unless it’s a high
value in parts, I’d think most sellers would ship the right parts right away
to you and tell you to keep the incorrect parts.
If the seller does not want to rectify this for you, you can file a NSS (they
didn’t send the right parts) and do a PayPal claim. If they leave you negative
feedback just provide a nice response to address it. As a buyer only, your feedback
doesn’t mean all to much.

You have told the seller and they have refused. You can either put up with what
you receive, or return the items at your cost, or inform PayPal and ask a for
a refund. I don't know if PayPal's terms are the same there, but here
they say: "If an item doesn’t arrive or doesn't match the description,
and your payment is eligible, we’ll reimburse the full cost of eligible purchases
paid, including shipping costs." It might be worth telling them the wrong
item was sent and that you will return the whole order. Then buy the whole lot
from another seller.

I had exactly the same issue - wrong parts (actually 3 SW minifigs), awful seller
wanting items to be sent back at my cost. I issued NSS - BrickLink cancelled
it. I spoke to PayPal - they wouldn't refund as I wouldn't send the parts
back at my cost (why should I have to pay? - the seller made the mistake, not
me. I just left a Negative in the end - they responded likewise. The company
is no longer selling on BrickLink. That's my only comfort: one less crap
seller.
