| Good afternoon, other BrickLinkers.
Thanks to a comedic chain of events that began with my doctor prescribing a new
anti-depressant a few days hence and my taking them at nightfall, I have had
the worst case of insomnia ever in my 55 years, and have now been up for nearly
35 hours.
Anyway...there's a rare but very welcome and heavy rain coming down here
in central Texas at the moment, and even then I have yet to blink, yawn, or nod
off once thus far today. If I don't sleep soon, I shall not be able to fulfill
my dubious duties as a USPS rural carrier tomorrow, either.
In the interim I have used the unforeseen but lovely free time to reorganize
the store and get it back on track for selling (all the while humming select
tunes from Wagner's Lohengrin). In this regard, I am even switching
organizing methods from little drawer-like bins over to large, sealed-from-the-dust
labeled bins. This will permit me to fulfill orders in less than half the time
it would have normally taken.
In addition, I figured as long as I'm going through my inventory and updating
the Remarks fields to reflect the new locations of each item, I may as well adjust
the price to be more in tune with the BL Price Guide.
That's when I suddenly realized that it's been a while since I last logged
on to BrickLink as a seller. Some of my prices were so ludicrously high that
at first I thought that someone is playing a prank with my account. Nope, it's
just me being out of touch. But I'm still surprised in the drop in many of
the prices for basic elements but in rarer colors. I'd probably chalk that
up to the (not so) recent release of more sets in said colors, I suppose. I haven't
strolled down the LEGO aisle at Wal-Mart or Target in a while, either, so I'm
unfamiliar with anything released in say, the last six or seven months.
Cheers mates,
- Pat (BL ID: Bond)

Xenia Onattop, or the vast amount of other choices to have a better night sleep
Sweet Dreams when they come.
