| Hello!
I am placing orders left and right for MOC Brickheadz sets that my son wants.
99.99% of the time the orders are coming from 2-4 stores. With people shipping
sometimes 10 days later, by the time they get here I forget what order goes with
what Brickhead set I was going to let him build. Is there a place to label the
orders inside of bricklink for easy reference? Obviously I could create an excel
spreadsheet or something, but figured it would be easier to do on Bricklink if
I could. I see the place to put a note after I have placed an order, but I believe
that just goes to the seller for some reason? Even then, after I type the note
in, it isnt showing up for me when I go into that particular order.
Thanks in advance for any help!

If you’re talking about the note field just before the last click to validate
an order, then yes, it’s a message to the seller.

On your Order Placed list ( https://www.bricklink.com/orderPlaced.asp ), there’s
a link above the orders, “Customize Display” ( https://www.bricklink.com/orderSettingsCols.asp?v=p
) where you can add an icon for adding/editing a note (third checkbox from the
top left).
That adds an icon in the line.
Click on the icon to add or edit the note.
Once there’s a note, if you leave the mouse pointer a second over the icon, the
note is shown.
Or you can click again on the icon.
AFAICT, this note is private.

I use the item remark field to fill in the set number. When the order comes
in I go to the orders placed/received page and click of the scroll like icon
just to the left of the store name.

The scroll like icon is for “Items in Order on My Wanted List Icon” (search the
items in the order in all your WLs).
So, you mean you put notes in the items in the Wanted Lists and then search your
order in your WLs to find back the notes, right?

BTW, you need to check the second box in the settings to have this icon.
