| I have some old classic space /pirate figures. There are curved lines at sides
of torsos under arms and down to waist. Are these cracks? Appreciate any help.

Probably not cracks and just mold lines. The best way to check for sure is to
insert some legs horizontally but only partially as it adds just a bit of pressure
which makes any crack easily visible but old torsos sometimes have quite noticeable
mold lines

This is how I do it as well. I Figure you can't break it more and if it breaks
that easy it's garbage anyways.

Some curved marks are a result of the arm or hand being moved across the surface
when the arms are swung back and forth.
