This will likely be a difficult question to answer, or will at least have varied
opinions/answers. I'm looking for a potential value for a factory sealed
6002-2. With this being a holy grail type of item, obviously there is little
to no recent sales history to use as a guide. Just curious as to thoughts about
having high end rarities appraised by someone with knowledge. Thanks for any
input!

Post pics of what you have. If it is MISB in a mint condition unopened box, it
could be worth auctioning on that bay site.

It would definitely fetch quite a price, there's going to be a bidding war
between collectors and army builders alike.

If sold correctly the net return for you could be far more than it's value
ever normally would be.

Cheers ...

I'm not sure what you would hope to gain by an appraisal. Take good pictures
and put it up on an auction site or list it at about double what you think it's
worth here and slowly lower the price.

You could compare to some other old castle sets that have sold recently.

Set No: 6067 Name: Guarded Inn
*
6067-1 (Inv) Guarded Inn
232 Parts, 4 Minifigures, 1986
Sets: Castle: Lion Knights
while not as old, is probably in higher demand and has averaged around $1,000
new.

My guess is 6002-2 is in the $400-$600 range. I personally like the 375 knights
like these more than the Black Falcon and Crusaders, but most people prefer the
mid 80's to mid 90's.
