When clicking on the photo of the black 2x4 plate with 2 raised studs that are
hollow, it takes me to a page for

Part No: bb0007c01  Name: Electric, Motor 4.5V Type A 12 x 4 x 4 (Train)
*
bb0007c01 Electric, Motor 4.5V Type A 12 x 4 x 4 (Train)
Parts: Electric, Motor

Can this be fixed please?

What is that plate btw? I have never seen it before.

There’s nothing to be fixed because…

  What is that plate btw? I have never seen it before.

…that’s a broken/unglued piece from the motor part

Well, maybe there could be some note or pic to explain that.

It’s a plate that comes from the motor, should not come off but does.

If you look at the right hand side of the motor you see two metal protrusions
for the pins of wires to push into.

The piece that these protrusions come through is this plate.
