| Can we slap some links in to forum posts (or even just the users profile or feedback
page) to make it easier to ignore people and report posts?

If you want to ignore certain topics, you can do that in your forum settings

If you want to ignore a user, you can do that on the page above as well, just
add them to the bottom list.

no I know that, but why can't it be on the post just like the reply button
is? I don't mind the sales posts and I've gotten a lot of really good
deals through it, but some people seem to always be running sales which is basically
just their standard prices.

Presumably because if they remove the small barrier to report a post, then they
will get lots of fake reports or reports when not warranted.
As for the constant sales posts from some people, many of those sellers probably
aren't even visiting the forum. I least favourite the store and ignore all
threads by the user. It takes just a minute and you are never bothered by the
seller again.
