name but according to their millions of customers (just last month), they are
the best!
But hey, dont trust me, just place a really LARGE order, like over a thousand
bucks, and find out for your self.

the ratio of feedback received to feedback given.
I seem to be a magnet for new buyers and I'm okay with that since they account
for over half my revenue. But they're terrible at feedback because they don't
understand how it all works.
...
Then I four buyers in the past two weeks with 500+ feedback who I think "okay,
they understand the game obviously". I go and look at feedback received
and it's all stellar. I then go look at the feedback they left and all four
of them have only LEFT feedback 10-20% of the time. So that guy with 1333 feeedback?
They only left 229.

The worst part is that you have no way of knowing if anything went wrong with
your order until the buyer discovers the problem and starts either a discussion
in the forum or leaves neutral/negative feedback. Sometimes you get a smart buyer
who emails you first but occasionally you get a buyer that decides to leave feedback
or start questioning what went wrong in a forum post.
Even if you don't have a lot of time you need to check the forums and your
email occasionally, some buyers don't even seem to know the BrickLink messaging
system exists, or how to use it.
Just some of the hazards of being a seller that all sellers have to face nowadays.
I might go back to selling, I'm not sure yet though, need to keep myself
doing the LEGO hobby, and get into constructing a layout for something I'm
designing. That, or video games, sometimes I just don't get that creative
urge, or have spent too much time in a video game, and don't get lots of
building with the LEGO collection done. I've been working on it though, looking
through it, and sorting through it slowly. It is a lot of work sorting the LEGO
collection, and the bigger it is the more effort has to be put into it.
Anyway, enough waffling, I must get something done! Even if I don't seem
active on BrickLink, I'm always looking around for LEGO deals when I can
afford to.
Just keep picking away at it, as for how long the sessions should be, I'd
suggest to work out what session length works best for your schedule, and try
to stick to it. You'll have to be flexible though, as sometimes life gives
you tasks that need to be done. Taxes, cleaning, parties, it's life as we
know it ...

Oh I get it, trust me. That's why I wish there was a better way to show
total orders placed/completed instead of feedback, which aggregates feedback
from selling and buying.
You can be an amazing buyer but a crappy seller, but if you're feedback number
is high enough nobody is going to dig in to the numbers to get an accurate idea
of the kind of store you operate.
