Hi,
So I've got quite wierd issue.
Seller has info that he offers free international shipping for orders over 120EUR.
My order is about 125EUR, but I wanted to get VAT-free invoice. After VAT deduction
order value goes down to more or less 100EUR and seller claims I didnt not met
the 120EUR, so I have to pay for shipping.

Just to clarify, text says: "Free Shipping for order above 120 euro".
But as I understand it should be "Free Shipping for order above 120 euro
nett"

Im quite sure, that VAT is tax that has to be paid either way, but by VAT-free
invoice seller just transfers duty of paying it onto customer.

Is it legal to refuse free shipping in that case?

Without answering about the VAT implications, it's not legal or illegal,
it's a private compagny or person, normaly they do as they please. There
could be local consumer's laws, but if you're not from that country,
good luck on having them inforced.

Why are you asking for a VAT free invoice? Are you VAT registered and will be
handling the VAT correctly yourself when you sell on the items?

The seller is probably right that you have no longer placed a 120+ Euro order
if you are not paying him 120+ Euro. You are lucky that the seller is obliging
and giving you the VAT free invoice so you don't have to claim back the VAT
by yourself. LEGO wouldn't do that for a customer using their consumer site.

It's perfectly normal: it's FREE if the price you pay is over 125€
But YOUR price is 100€, so you don't qualify.

We also have automatic or manual discounts for everyone, and it'll follow
the same rule.

My 2 cents: I would a bit more and get the free shipping
