| I was browsing a store with an Avg. Lot Value, on the store it is shown as $1.00
AU
BrickLink Help Center says this is calculated by number of lots in cart divided
by price of items.
What does this value shown on the store mean?
How do I calculate this to minimize the extra I would have to pay?
Cheers ...

| I forgot to add, why does the BrickLink Shopping Cart not show this as a part
of my shopping cart whilst shopping?
Cheers ...

There are many things BrickLink should/could do but don't.
Me too
To calculate it's kind of easy, divide the total price of the order (only)
by the number of Lots (those are different parts/colors).
Examples:
20$ / 20 lots, you should be fine, it's 1$ per lot avg.
100$ / 10 lots, very nice, you're at 10$ per lot.
10$ / 100 lots is a no go in this shop, as it makes a 0.10$ avg per lot.
Other solution; pleanty other shops do NOT limit the number of lots
