You can still upload an image of the part to the catalog, even if it has never
been in any set in that color.

You can still upload an image of the part to the catalog, even if it has never
been in any set in that color.

The color is not even on the full color list on Bricklink, so not possible...

The color is not even on the full color list on Bricklink, so not possible...
