I have loved using Bricklink over the years. In November I had a problem with
an order and sent a question to Brinklink in January. I still have not heard
back. I realize this is a small operation but after two months with no reply
I know I'll never get one.

I'll miss BL.

I know it’s annoying and backward but your message or the answer may have been
lost.  It’s known to have already happened (so much so that there’s a “Help Desk
Missing Ticket” topic!).

You may try this other website: https://helpdesk.bricklink.com/Main/
You need to re-register with the same address/login as on the main BL site but
you’ll be able to see if you have tickets and answers there.

If not, that means your question was lost.

unfortunately there are some bad sellers mixed in but if the seller sent a damaged
item that wasn't listed as damaged or something was missing or something
similar you can file a Paypal claim or similar to get your money back. Bricklink
doesn't handle any money-related issues so if you messaged them about that
its unlikely they would be able to help

With more than half a million account, BrickLink - as it is now and for years
- will not reply to "trivial" questions or even questions; only serious
problems and with some delay in some cases.

Why not asking your question here?

It's too bad that your ticket went unanswered. There are known issues with
the ticket system and the help desk. BrickLink is aware of the problems and slowly,
very slowly they are being addressed.

But, I personally don't think this is a good enough reason to leave BrickLink.
BrickLink isn't just an office and a help desk. It's all of us: buyers,
sellers, a Forum, a community.

I doubt very many. Probably less than if they needed to increase seller fees
(and as a knock on, buyer prices) to cover more staff costs to answer basic
questions that could have been answered here or by reading the help pages.
