Hello sellers. I was just curious how many of you use the pick-a-brick wall at
Lego stores for your inventory. My nearest Lego store is 2 hours away and would
require a day trip dedicated to it. Would you consider that worth it? I also
know I'd have to research when they get their restock and get there early
to find the "rare" stuff. What kind of parts do you regularly restock
on?

Thanks. I was worried I was missing out not having one near me. Wish I did though,
the regular retail stores around me get picked clean pretty quick. I haven't
seen a fully stocked Lego section since Toys 'R' Us went bust.

Absolutely not worth it in your situation - especially if you're driving
a gasoline powered car.

Easiest and cheapest way to restock is to research sets with a high part out
value, find a rewards site like Honey or Rakuten, see which ones have cashback
offers and then order multiples of that set. The amount of time you'd spend
parting out 5x 2000 piece sets and storing them all would be the same as spending
an entire day to come home with a few pounds of pieces you'd need to manually
enter.

Yeah, that's what I'm currently doing. Constantly scouring sites and
drop listing items on honey for price drops.

No. I have 2 near me. 1 hour and then another 15 minutes drive (Great Lakes
Crossing and Sommerset Mall both in Michigan)

Most of the time I go there, it's for personal since most of what I find
on PAB are common parts rarely worth stuffing the cup to resell. Last trip I
went, I did find a lot of 1x4 tan masonry bricks. A full large cup would be $32
+ shipping from Bricklink store and $16 from local store. I also cleaned out
about 20 of lavender 6x5 leaves they had left

I've attempted to add parts from that source in my store, never get any customers
for them . So I end up just listing a few tiles or plant elements . I figure
if I can source them so can anyone else so the demand isn't that great for
those parts at the end of the day.
