| I am the seller and I have an order stuck in the "Packed" stage
even though I already shipped and the order is complete. How can I complete this?
Changing states back to any of the others does not correct the issue.
Thanks!

sounds like they paid offsite when they had to pay onsite. likely since they
had to pay tax and since it was paid manually bricklink couldn't collect
the tax so you kept the tax paid. the only legal workaround right now (to my
knowledge) is to refund the buyer and have them pay onsite

Is there a KB article on this somewhere? I was never aware that a person had
to pay onsite. I'm kinda surprised I've gone this long without seeing
this issue. I always thought the status was for convenience only.
Do I absolutely need to correct this??

Decide for yourself: Do you have the tax payment from this buyer in your possession?
We get seller posts like this about every 3rd day. Many, many people did not
associate the implication of sales tax (that was widely discussed) with the idea
that payments MUST go through Onsite.

I think when it says packed you can't mark it as paid. I think you need to
go back to ready. Mark it as paid and then progress it normally. I believe.

Dosnt work for orders that have sales tax from what I remember (and would result
in the seller keeping the sales tax which is illegal)
