Is there any time line when the Rivendell set inventory will be available? I
see that stores are already selling individual figures under the entry Incomplete
Set, and also complete or partial sets of minifigures using the same type of
entry. What appears unusual is that obviously an incomplete inventory of only
the standard parts has been uploaded some 10 days ago, but not a single one of
the new parts has been included. I wonder if there is a political order by TLG
or the BL Admins to hold back on this inventory because the sale of individual
parts may negatively impact the sales figures of this expensive set.

All inventories are done by volunteers - I see that this one is already pending
approval so someone is working on it. In fact you can see that it's progressed
pretty far already and is in good hands:

No need for any conspiracy theories about TLG or or the BL admins.

Wow, that's some out of the box thinking right there. Sorry but, no.

The set is being worked on by one of our best submitters.

We always start with the data from LEGO, which is what you can currently see.
Then we go through the process of checking and adding all the new minifig and
parts to the catalog. This is a time-consuming and exacting process. The enormous
wall of text in the Note for that inventory gives you an idea of how many new
parts and color combinations must be checked or photographed and added. We also
have to wait for the set to arrive if it's being shipped.

The set has more than 6,000 parts and more than 15 minifigs. It's going to
take more than a few days to complete.

Axaday's already on it -- give them time. The items and their images
-- in beautiful detail -- are in the approval waitlist. Large inventories
can either be done quickly or correctly, but rarely both.

Why would they want to stop parts being sold here? It would push their sale to
ebay and other sites.

Also the people selling the parts have to buy the set in the first place!

I expected my set to arrive on the 10th, but only the World House and Brickheadz
came in that shipment. The actual set arrived March 13th. I have a full time
job, but I have photographed all the minifigs and some of their parts. I just
saw that 5 of my submissions have been approved and I can do some work on it
from here at work to sort that out. There are a few more new parts I need to
comb out on another run through the bags, but as far as getting the set itself
inventoried, I am probably about halfway, then I'll finish up the minifigs.

Neither TLG nor any BL Admin has contacted me in any way concerning this set.

I’ve always had problems with poetry: I sometimes don’t get why some famous poets/poems
are supposed to be “good”.
So I won’t say anything about the “goodness” of this
