| Hi all,
is supposed to exist in both Green and Light Gray.
I have doubts they are the same pattern:
— there’s no need to paint a Green border on the Green part when a lack of Light
Gray paint would suffice,
— there’s even less a need to paint a Light Gray road on the Light Gray part.
Can it be confirmed they are different patterns?
If so, shouldn’t these parts be split?

As these are printed parts, we would prefer to have photos. The Light Gray render
is one of those old super small images that was targeted for replacement in 2017.

Yep, I didn’t say but the actual images are crap: the Green one is an LDraw render
for sure, and the LG is so small, it could well be crayon
BTW, the question arised on the Studio forum as the LDraw part is made on the
Green one and when you paint it in LG, the border is LG (or any colour you paint
the part).

If the pattern was exactly the same, even though the prints would be different,
wouldn't they be treated as the same item in different colours. I'm just
thinking about the equivalence with dual molded legs and printed legs with 'boots'
patterns. The prints there are different as dual molded has no print, but the
patterns are treated as the same and we don't know if a part is dual molded
or printed.

Ah, shoot. That would be a problem for Studio because if the patterns are different,
I think LDraw would make two parts, so Studio wouldn’t be able to use the official
LDraw part.
