| so a sand green 1x8 brick is 5.00$ used? definitely surprised me. just listed
one.

It looks like it was only included in a few sets, all of which were retired more
than a decade ago. So, it's bound to be expensive.
Dark brown 1 x 8 bricks are also very expensive for similar reasons.

Is this the reason the Green Grocer is so expensive since it has 50 of them in
it? I always liked that set but I don't like it THAT much.

since its a modular its very collectible plus its age and "rarity" and
stuff plus the parts were probably used in other mocs and stuff

It's a bit of a chicken-and-egg situation. Some sets are expensive because
they contain expensive parts, and some parts are expensive because they come
in expensive sets.
