What do you think the chances are of the reddish brown hinge even existing? There
is no element number for it, there is no image of it after 15 years on BrickLink,
and there is no price guide data for it.

That's what I thought. I am going to remove it from the inventory. I have
a feeling it may have been a typing mistake when the inventory was originally
created, since reddish brown is color 88 on BrickLink and light bluish gray is
color 86 on BrickLink. I find it really hard to believe that an image of one
has never surfaced after this long. That usually means it doesn't really
exist.

The instructions for this set do not reflect the contents of the inventory very
well. Most of these parts appear to be some shade of Brown, including the 4276s.
The 3710s in the manual aren’t Dark Bluish Gray, which was also interesting to
note. Color 8 is also Brown, so it may have also been a double click. The seller
I purchased the copy from has another two for sale. Maybe the contents of those
copies also slightly differ. These things come in clear plastic bags, so the
seller may be willing to send photos of the set.
