Lego Ideas has failed me once again. These choices are horrible. To add to a
long list of disappointments lately, including the horrible a-frame cabin design,
rejecting ratatouille for the third time, never accepting ANY of my ideas projects/challenge

That phone booth is an iconic touristy thing for Americans visiting England.
Nightmare Before Christmas has a strong cult following.
I'm not interested in Ratatouille. Bluey could come down to whether they
can secure the license.

Don't think I could disagree with your more. Phone booths are super iconic
for London, just like the bus which they've made multiple times. To this
fact they even have one in the London section at Epoch in Disney World and it
is always surrounded by people taking pictures with it.
As for Nightmare Before Christmas, this is much like some of the other cult following
sets that Lego has produced in past years. This is their reach to get a different
community to purchase Lego and I think the set is a great match for the movie.
As for the A-Frame, it seems like the biggest grip everyone has is with the trees
yet everyone then complains when the sets cost to much money. There was an interview
with the designer that called out the parts count, cost and the difficulty in
building them in that way.
IMO these choice are still better than things like the table soccer set, but
the continuous push for the same types of sets each submission period I think
really limits the choices.

| Its entirely likely that the decision to reject Ratatouille is down to Disney
not agreeing to it rather than LEGO being unwilling to do it.

UK, I would expect the millions of people who have lived there would know what
they were. Or, the millions who have travelled there, watched a movie or a TV

| If you were to drive around the U.K. you would still see many of these boxes,
not always red anymore.
There was and probably still is a telephone museum at Avoncroft near Bromsgrove,
Worcestershire where they had boxes including Police telephones from the early
days until they phased out the red boxes.
There was one that resembled the Dr Who tardis close to an old fashioned telephone
exchange, which worked and you could walk around.
I donated some old coins including sixpence’s which they lacked so that they
could use more of the boxes on the site, you could phone from one box to another.
Around the U.K. I’ve seen many in gardens as ornamental structures, others still
in original locations used to display and sell local artists work, some full
of flowers, some as book exchanges and some to house defibrillators.
Fortunately they are not used as emergency toilets anymore, some people as so
disgusting.

Maybe a British member will correct me, but I think it won't sell really
well in England. It will be more popular in the USA.
