| Hi all. I recently had an issue with a seller and put in my request to remove
their feedback. However, the feedback removal system doesn't give any space
to explain why the feedback should be removed. On the surface, their ""No
return communication" negative feedback could look like a perfectly valid
review, so I'm looking to get in contact with someone to further explain.
Can anyone assist with this?
I made an order and when I received my pieces, I was missing over half of one
lot and another lot was very clearly used brick, despite being listed as new.
I reached out and, after no reply for 3 days, I followed up again. I got a reply
later that night saying the bricks were new, but from a bulk lot, which is why
they look the way they do.
I have purchased in bulk before. I understand new bricks may have small marks,
but these bricks were beyond that. Various scuffs, nicks, no new brick shine,
etc. I replied back with images showing this and after 4 days of hearing nothing,
I get a refund for the pieces.
When I left feedback, I chose neutral due to a combination of slow communication,
selling used as new and claiming I was wrong about it, missing parts, etc. It
was at this time I noticed the seller had lots of other feedback with similar
claims (my fault for not checking sooner, as I was in a rush to order the parts).
A day later I get a message saying they gave me the benefit of the doubt, but
knew the pieces were new and told me to take the review down. One day later they
give me negative feedback for no return communication. So I get a negative for
taking 1 day to read a message, while they take 3-4 days to reply to anything.
As you can see in the below images, the 2x6 bricks in the middle are in different
condition than the other new bricks. The color difference, worn edges, scuffs,
etc are all signs they are used. As a seller, I understand mistakes happen. But
there was no attempt at resolving the issue and the blame was immediately placed
on me.
Is this a valid reason to request the feedback be removed or should I just drop
it and move on? I know it doesn't hurt me as much as a buyer as it would
a seller, but I'd still prefer not to have it if it can be avoided.
Thanks!

Ah, that store. I’d have placed orders for its rare parts if it weren’t for all
the bad reviews.

I had a bad experience with this store too.
1X1 plates in "milky white" appeared to be v.l.b gray
This seller should learn more about Lego colors

No - see help on feedback removal?

No.
If you think you've been ripped off, open an NSS and document it, open a
PayPal claim.
If the NSS is completed then the FB can be removed.
But if the seller refunds you and you're satisfied, it won't.

I looked through those and the one that stood out to me was "Buyer or seller
is attempting feedback extortion."
I got a negative review of "No return communication" simply because I
did not reply to their message asking me to remove my negative feedback within
one day. They didn't give me a review until I gave them a neutral first.
It's not a situation that would have happened had I given a positive review.
Thanks for the other info!

| I am sorry but I really don't understand how this can still happen... this
store has AT LEAST 3 or 5 negative feedback per month, without counting neutral
feedback !
They are opened for 2 years, they have around 30% of neutral and negative feedback
and they are still here ?
Why ?!

Because no 3 buyers opened or completed an NSS?

They don't have 30% neutral and negative, it is about 3%.
Why are they here? It is because buyers continue to buy from them and the vast
majority are happy.

Happy? Or too scared to say what they really think out of fear of retaliation
feedback just like the OP received? This is what a Flawed feedback System looks
like!
Either way I wouldn't be surprised if that sellers days here are numbered!

I'm not sure one can say this - this seller doesn't even get feedback
from a majority of his or her buyers

Reading the comments, the actual words, many of his buyers are happy. That is
why more people keep buying.
Yes, more than 50% don't leave feedback, but then even happy buyers dont
always leave it. Are 40% of your buyers not happy? Those who don't say, don't
count.
He seems to get some repeat buyers or buyers placing multiple orders at once
or over a short time. It may well be that some don't leave multiple feedbacks,
just one. Or it may be he has a lot of scared buyers. We simply don't know.
All we do know is out of all the non-positive and missing feedback, he doesn't
have three completed NSS.

| Wow, I'd be hesitant to sell those even as used. I don't understand some
sellers.

Agreed. When I first saw the images before I read anything I immediately though
ok so those would be used parts that should be listed as damaged

They look like they were played with outside on concrete.
I checked the sellers feedback and this seem to be a normal thing for them, again,
I don't get it.
