| I paid for an item using instant check out 4 business days ago, I've had
no contact from the seller and no change in the order status since, how long
should I leave it before contacting the seller to get an update on the order?

it is never a problem to ask the seller after 4 days:
CHATGPT: "Hi, I was wondering if you could provide me with an update on
the status of my order? I would greatly appreciate any information you can provide.
Thank you."
but be more patient: with status and shipments.
look in the terms if you can find a clue for shipment times

Thanks for the suggestion, I've checked the invoice and they do say "international
shipment takes longer, be patient", I've taken that to include actually
getting to the courier and shipping it too, so I'll give them another day
or two before making contact

I think 4 days is long enough.
