| I have been selling on Bricklink for a little over 2 years now and so far I think
I have been ok. I've made about $2300 in sales and 140 orders so far, but
I would like to make a lot more. Just asking from any Bricklink sellers who have
way more experience than me if they have any suggestions to grow bigger or
if I'm going in the right direction? Right now I currently have just over
20,000 parts and 2300 lots new and used. Also I know selling internationally
would increase sales by a lot but I would really like to sell just in the United
States. The only thing I can think of is to increase variety/lot count any advice
or suggestions would be great thanks!

yup like you are thinking adding parts is the best way to grow! just add and
add and the more you add the more you'll sell. for me orders got more consistent
once I hit about 10k lots with about 180k bricks

You might get some but not many. I ship worldwide and still over 90% of my buyers
are in the U.S.

You might get some but not many. I ship worldwide and still over 90% of my buyers

OUS buyers were much more plentiful when shipping a first class mail parcel was
$5-6. When usps upped the rates over the past few years the international orders
slowed way way down. Hard to justify paying $16 to ship 3-4 ounces of bricks.

Selling internationally did bring in good sales years ago but no more. The whole
reason is that shipping overseas is now just way too expensive. When we first
started selling overseas we probably received at least 25% of our orders from
overseas but that was when overseas shipping thru USPS was actually reasonable
but now for just 8 ounces they charge $17.10. Above 8 ounces it goes up to about
$27.00.
We now get maybe 1% to 2% of our sales from other countries.

In theory yes, but it's ridiculously expensive to ship internationally anymore.
I get a few messages every now and then from people asking me if they can get
a better price on shipping because $21 to ship a $20 minifig is hard to justify.
This comment actually reminded me that I need to turn off international shipping.

My advice is read some books on business aka do the legwork yourself. Or if you
still want to cheat at it, there's tons of people on youtube with advice.
