Hi. Is there a (easy) way to tell if the Woolly Mammoth (mammoth01) is Lego?
Just brought a job lot with one in and cannot find a Lego mark/number anywhere....even
the 8 'studs' there is no Lego 'watermark'!

There’s the LEGO logo inside the studs on the real part.

Thank you, I will discard it then!

Look really close at the bottom of the open studs, really small print and hard
to see. With the value of it I would look again.

Agreed. Although, the Lego mammoth is known to have been copied and sold.

Is the rest or a big part of the set in there?
If it is, could be real, if it isn’t, most likely not real.
(that is if you cannot find the LEGO logo)

I have two of them, the LEGO logo is inside the hollow studs on the body and
trunk, and at the back of the head there is the mould number and a LEGO copyright.
Same for the first part of the tusks, so pretty much everywhere on mines…
