Curious how the LEGO marketers landed on the character name, Mizar? Arabic in
origin, meaning cloak or cover, also what the double star whose binary companion
is Alcor in the Ursa Major constellation, is dubbed?

It's complicated, but the short story is that they wanted to downsize their
colors of plastic that they were keeping in stock, and focus more on themed sets.
The LoM minifigures have arms that are brittle and in rare colors that are no
longer produced. That leads to difficult decisions for people who have them.
Not only are they a collector's item, the parts for them are hard to find
and impossible to get replacements for!
Cheers ...

But they could make new figures in new colors…
More likely it did not make enough money, like say Friends does atm.
