| Hello - and merry Christmas all.
Not the first time I’ve stumbled upon this in a vintage lot. I’ve think that
I previously have come to the conclusion that it’s not Lego (had to check all
my posts here if I have asked before) but now I am more doubtful. Can anyone
identify it? And if it’s not Lego, what could it be?

| Hi,
I could think of it as a part of the mechanic to open the garagedoor automaticly
when a car drives over it. I think it's sets from the 1950s/60s. Not sure,
cause I don't own those.
Kind regards,
Remko

It looks like part of the old train signal insert.
The part # is x489. This is the insert that you turn.
