I went to use auto buy from wanted list and it picked 3 stores. A few parts I
wanted to get had non-specified color since it'd be internal to my build
and I would have liked any cheap colored part. The strange thing was auto buy
picked one store that had a bunch of clear 2x2 plates at 50 cents each. The other
2 stores also has 2x2 plates in various color for a lot less. I had to dismiss
the one store and manually added cheap 2x2 plates from the other 2 stores that
were auto picked.
I guess it's one drawback but to end up with an extra $20 on order because
it choose more expensive clear 2x2 plates instead...

Yes, how Auto-select chooses a color for N/A parts is strange: it’s not the cheapest,
not even in the store (I don’t know if it chose a store specially for your 2x2
plates, but even when it chooses a store for another reason and picks a lot in
that store to fulfill a N/A lot, it doesn’t pick the cheapest colour).
Better not include them in the search if they are fillers (you can do that through
the Wanted Items tab on the left).
