| Hi there!
Just wondering if I'm alone here or someone experienced the same issue with
the latest two updates of Brickstore (2022.11.2) and MacOS Monterrey (12.6).
As I have multiple open BS documents in my "Documents" folder, every time I click
on the OPENED document in the BS, the system asks me something like this: "Brickstore"
would like to access files in your Documents folder.
The problem is that it asks dozens of times every time I want to open the application.
Before I didn't have this issue, so I'm wondering if there is anything
that could help me? I've tried to move all the documents to a different folder
that is not system, but still having the same issues.
I don't have any restrictions in the Settings though.
Thanks in advance!

This is a tricky one: turns out it is a bug in newer versions of macOS, where
the security service sometimes doesn't save the folder permissions for unsigned,
fat (arm+intel) applications. This only seems to happen on arm based Macs.
Apple has been notified, but doesn't seem to care.
I have added a work-around to BrickStore that does do the trick on my M2 MacBook.
Could you please test this preview version of BrickStore, to see if it works
for you as well?

of the page)

PS: Please report bugs directly on GitHub in the future: "Help" -» "Report a
bug...". It helps me keep track of things and also helps you by ensuring that
stuff does get fixed eventually

Hi!
Thanks for looking into the issue, I'll definitely do it directly next time
if I observe something that doesn't look like a feature rather a bug
Anyway, I've tried and unfortunately it didn't work for me. Just uploaded
from the GitHub and still see the issue (and I know it's a new version as
Mac asked me permissions to open the app).
I have ARM, you are right. But M1 so probably that's why it doesn't work
for me!
Thanks again!
