| Hi,
I have an order from a buyer whom I sold to before. Now he ordered from a new
profile, the other one has buying privileges revoked.
I don’t really know how to proceed from that. Do I request BL merge profiles,
or am I supposed to open the cancellation process for this order?
What will happen to the order when profiles are merged?
I didn’t find too much info on that issue, other than it’s a violation of TOS.

i would start with an email to the buyer, why he made a new profile.

Sorry, but I think this is none of your business. This is the typical German
attitude to control and report your neighbors for about anything. We have seen
in the past 3 years where this leads to.

Sorry, but I think this is none of your business. This is the typical German
attitude to control and report your neighbors for about anything. We have seen
in the past 3 years where this leads to.

| Had once a buyer who was asking for discounts constantly on the 21103 after he
order, had to cancel this transaction and block him.
10 minutes after his wife on the same address than the buyer bought the item
at my price.
So is it one account per home or per person?
Have reported it but never got any feedback.

Technically as you're a member you're an entity, an human (or a company).
I guess BrickLink won't bother a couple who makes 2 accounts to manage better
their own purchases. As long it's not to try to trick the system of course.

| Might be, but I had a buyer, who changed the addresses several times a day for
each of his customers on amazon, have reported him. He got blocked and 3 weeks
after he was up and running again. Could see this on his addresses history.
So it is always difficult to figure out the drop shipping people are doing.

| It is my business, as I don’t know what happens if BL cancels his orders or purges
his account while the order is shipped. This is a multiple hundred dollars order.
If I wanted to be an asshole I‘d have reported him instantly without asking what
the correct steps are. So not really helpful here…

| That's a valid question in deed, but aren't you protected when he/she
pays with paypal?
Or do what I did before being blocked here, ask for a bank transfer, so he cannot
run away with your stuff.

It is - one account is permitted, or with authorization as a seller for testing
purpose, for example.
I don't think you can use one for buying and one for selling.
I know one of the biggest shop used to do this - didn't check if it's
still the case.

I think one can do that with admin permission as well - if you're a seller
but you wish to buy and send to other countries.

What was your experience with this buyer? If they were good, I would proceed
with the purchase. If he pays with Paypal, it does not matter if he is still
with BL or not. BL won't help you anyway.
